The Evrigenis Yearbook of International and European Law (EvrYIEL), dedicated to the memory of Professor Dimitrios Evrigenis, is an annual, peer reviewed, publication, that provides a scholarly forum to discuss issues of Public International, Private International Law, the Law of the European Union, Immigration and Asylum Law, the International Protection of Human Rights, as well as Legal Informatics, the late Professor’s particular fields of interest. The Yearbook focuses on theoretical as well as practical questions and current developments in all related scientific areas, aiming at the publication of original research and scholarship. The Yearbook aims to provide a forum for quality International and European research into all the aforementioned facets, covering general and special issues of the highest impact of both practical and theoretical nature. In support of conducting research, EvrYIEL publishes articles, essays, book reviews, current developments and editorial comments on these topics in English, French, or German and features by scholars and practitioners that engage with International and European Law. The Yearbook’s Editorial Board and Advisory Board are composed of Professors, scholars and practitioners of Public International and European Law, both from Greece and abroad, to ensure that the interrelationship between current developments and the evolution of modern Public International and European law and thorough scholarly analysis is adequately reflected in the EvrYIEL. Articles are reviewed by members of the Editorial Board and selection for publication is made by the Associate Editors in consultation with the Editorial Board. The Yearbook is intended to fill a significant gap in Greek scientific fora, which lack a precise and solid Yearbook addressing all the contemporary developments and future prospects of the aforementioned fields of law.
